Welcome to Belvidere Primary School Welcome to Belvidere School Shrewsbury Belvidere Primary School Shrewsbury is situated on the North Eastern side of Shrewsbury and is located on the edge of the Telford Estate and Chilterns housing developments. It was opened in 1976. The present capacity is 238 with an admissions limit of 34 for all year groups. The School has its own kitchen and playing fields with playground areas. Nursery The School has a 40 place Nursery and pre-school playgroup on the premises. The nursery opened in September 1998 and is sited in a demountable classroom adjacent to the school building. Although the nursery is privately run, it is closely linked to the school and fully integrated. Further information about the nursery and admissions arrangements are available from the school.
